The unknown Superwife: Contessa of Clean is every house keepers dream.  Armed with inspiration she recruits at random in the wee wee hours.Minions succumb to her bidding. Her warp the minds of believers making them complacent and submissive to her sanitary ways. Then it happens, Voila! Your house is pristine sparkling and clean. The praises soon follow, as you wallow, you wonder at your confusion, and wishful thinking. Was that  dust bunny? Then you wake up and realize it was but a dream. So you put on your big girl panties and pick up you broom!

It is the same time after time, and you know who you are. We are closing in.  This is the first in my unknown series.  So many times in everyday life we feel un known until we do something wrong and suddenly everyone know who we are.  That is the idea behind this series.  Bringing to light all the good  things that we try to do that go unoticed...talk about unnoticed I off to clean the bathroom.

Mini Canvases by Alma Lee

When I was a little girl my Mom had an artist friend, and she painted all these lilttle mini pictures on hard board and built these little easels to sit on. When we were going through Mom and Dads Estate we ran into them again so I took them home. Then my husband and I were shopping for art supplies and I happened to look up and there on a shelf were these mini canvases with accompanying easels. I could not resist. Here are my first two: they are 2.5"x3 and 3x3" in size.

It was the 57 Chevy
that gave life to me.
On wings of a Bel Air
loosed my tie and set me free...

I have a dream car, that cruises through my mind, I suppose we all do. Mine comes in red and has the strongest of wings, and a engine that races until it takes flight. The '57 Chevy surely fits the bill. It had it all back then and now too.

This weeks pick Cube-a-Kitty series: Kamikaze Kitty by Alma Lee

Cats are addictive there is little doubt. What is not widely known is they are also addicts. Addicted to adventure, fun and the hunt. Kamikaze Kitty is on a mission, flying high in his addiction to flight, he is after that dust bunny under the bed. And make no mistake about it he will rise victorious, or die trying. Don't worry, good bad or ugly he will be home in time for dinner!

I chose primary colors to emphasize the primal untamed side of cats, and cubism best illustrates the fractured nature of the domestic feline.
